According to Crain's Grand Rapids, while no one owned the Muskegon Brewing name, Leetsma spoke with the family of the company's founders and got their blessing.

Muskegon Brewing is partnering with Pigeon Hill Brewing, which will brew a range of styles, including lager, blonde ale, west coast IPA, hazy IPA, fruit beer, wheat beer, and more under the Muskegon Brewing Co. brand.

Crain's Grand Rapids reports Muskegon Brewing Co. will seat 250 people and offer a view of Muskegon Lake. A gastro-pub style menu is planned, with to-go items to cater to the boating crowd.
