Just this last weekend, my son told me that just before the end of 2023, they had to go into lockdown at his school. I guess the police were chasing a car that hit some vehicles at his school, and the two people inside went on the run, so the school went into lockdown mode. The men driving the car didn't enter the school but did get caught and arrested, thank goodness.

The sad part of the story was him telling me about kids that were crying. He said he had to calm and comfort one of his best friends who was terrified and told me it was scary. Even though nothing bad happened to the children it still affects them.
