ISIS Plan for Climate Change

Governor Rick Snyder made an important decision to place the security of Michigan citizens ahead of a reckless plan he had championed as recently as Friday on The Steve Gruber Show. The Governor told me two days ago that we are a nation of immigrants and we are a giving people. He did concede to me that people had a legitimate concern when it came to waves of Middle Eastern refugees coming to America and specifically those heading to Michigan from Syria. Snyder however stuck to his guns and said immigrants from the Middle East should be welcomed with open arms to Michigan and they would create jobs and economic growth.

The Governor however began to change his mind dramatically just a few hours later after the heinous attacks on Paris that left a grievous wound on that nation with more than 130 dead and hundreds more injured by Islamic Terrorists using suicide bombs and AK-47’s. I called on the Governor to admit he was wrong and reject the foolish plan of encouraging too many refugees with questionable backgrounds to flood into Michigan or step down from office.

Today, after less than two days since the attack in Paris, the Governor took my advice and has now suspended the misguided idea. Snyder in a statement released earlier today said, "Given the terrible situation in Paris, I've directed that we put on hold our efforts to accept new refugees until the U.S. Department of Homeland Security completes a full review of security clearances and procedures," Snyder said in a statement released by his office on Sunday.” He tried to maintain some of his talking points by adding, "Michigan is a welcoming state and we are proud of our rich history of immigration," the statement said. "But our first priority is protecting the safety of our residents."

It seems however that Barack Obama and his administration are still not getting it. In fact just today, the administration announced another five high level detainees will be released from Guantanomo Bay and sent for supervision to United Arab Emirates. With what happened just a couple of days ago in Paris, everything should be off the table, including this fools errand thinking that when terrorists go back home they will be good and behave.

Lets look at the bottom line. In the past week ISIS bombed a Russian airliner leaving Egypt killing all 224 on board, attacked Beirut, Lebanon with suicide bombs killing 43 and injuring more than 250, and slaughtered more than 130 in Paris and left more than 350 others with major injuries. Nearly 100 people are still in critical condition there.

I think it is pretty damned obvious to anyone who cares to accept the truth that ISIS is not the JV squad, nor is it contained as President Obama said just before the attacks on Friday in an interview with ABC News.

During a rather tedious moment during the Democratic Presidential debate on Saturday night Hillary Clinton refused to use the term “radical Islamic terrorists.” In fact she said this when pressed on the matter, “I don’t think we’re at war with Islam. I don’t think we’re at war with all Muslims.” Well Mrs. Clinton we may not be at war with ‘all Muslims” but a good number of them are clearly at war with us.

Tonight the French continue to pound the Syrian city of Raqqa that is considered the de facto capital of their declared new world caliphate. At least ten French war planes were pounding the city at last word.

Poland is also not taking any more chances with refugees flooding into the European Union by closing its borders to all migrants from the Middle East.

My call for re-thinking and rejecting Governor Snyder’s plan to bring thousands of Syrians to Michigan has earned me a variety of predictable calls from delusional liberals. Many on the left think if we all just hug- the brutal killing at the hands of Radical Islamic Terrorists will just come to a nice warm fuzzy and peaceful end. I’ve been called Xenophopic, racist and of course much worse.

If you’re wondering if I am Xenophobic or just being sensible, take a moment to consider this. A new report says Michigan is among the top five targets for Islamic State in America. ISIS says it has dozens of fighters already here, ready to carry out attacks just like the one in Paris.

And while we are talking delusional let’s talk about really delusional. You’ve probably heard that coming up at the end of the month there is a worldwide gathering in Paris to address Climate Change and it appears to be going ahead as scheduled. In fact during the Democratic debate, Marxist Senator Bernie Sanders said despite the carnage in Paris, Climate Change is the biggest threat facing the world and went one really delusional step further, “Well what happens in, say, Syria… is that when you have drought, when people can’t grow their crops, they’re going to migrate into cities,” Sanders said, adding “So where you have discontent, where you have instability, that’s where problems arise, and certainly, without a doubt, climate change will lead to that.”

So, let me get this straight, The President is releasing terrorist leaders to the UAE, Hillary Clinton cannot say ‘Radical Islamic Terrorism’ and Bernie Sanders says bad weather in the Middle East is triggering the slaughter in the streets of Paris. I’m sorry but are Democrats really this stupid?

President Obama, if you are unwilling or unable to lead, which is clear at this critical point in history because you refuse to recognize the clear and present danger that continues to ravage and murder innocent people around the world, then it is time to resign.

If you’re wondering, ISIS has no plan for Climate Change. When you spend all of your time planning to kill as many people as possible in as many places as possible, there is little time left to contemplate whether or not sea levels will be 3 inches higher a hundred years from now.
