Last week, news broke of an investigation into whether Ingham County Circuit Court Judge Rosemarie Aquilina should face obstruction charges after the release of a courtroom video. WLNS.com is now reporting that Clinton County Prosecutor Charles Sherman will not authorize any charges against Aquilina.

Sherman's office was asked by the state attorney general to review a request for charges brought on by the Ingham County Sheriff's Office. While the issue of criminal charges is settled, a civil matter continues. Aquilina is suing Ingham County Sheriff Gene Wrigglesworth and Detective Charles Buckland in federal court for retaliation and invasion of privacy charges.
