WLNS.com reports that the new Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter is moving into its new digs this weekend. As a result, the shelter hours and services will be reduced until the move is complete.

The move is taking place Sunday, June 2 through Tuesday, June 4. This means that adoption services and dog licensing will not be available at the shelter on Monday and Tuesday.

However, Animal Control officers will still be able to take in strays and assist those with lost pets. Dog licenses will be available in Mason at the Ingham County Courthouse as well as at the County Clerk office at Veterans Memorial Courthouse in downtown Lansing.

Full shelter operations are expected to resume Wednesday, June 5 at 10:30 AM. For full details, visit this link to WLNS.com.
