ICYMI: Lansing Ignite To Host U.S. Open Cup Tilt

Lansing Ignite FC announced on Wednesday that the first-year club would host a first round match in the annual Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup this coming May 8th against AFC Ann Arbor.

The Ignite are in their inaugural season in the United Soccer League's (USL) League One.  They are currently 1-1 on the season so far.  They host the Richmond Kickers this coming Saturday night at Cooley Law School Stadium in their first home match.

The U.S. Open Cup is an annual tournament that features professional and amateur soccer teams competing against each other.  It's similar to the famous FA Cup tournament in England.
