The Mochi Ice Cream Company in Vernon, California, is recalling 1,350 cases of their My Mochi Peach Mango Sorbet.

The Reason For The Recall:
The boxes don’t mention that the product contains pasteurized cooked egg white, which could cause serious allergic reactions for anyone with an egg allergy.
These sorbets were sold nationwide and are packaged in orange 6-count boxes, weighing 7.5 oz, found in the freezer section.
Major Snack Recall Hitting Michigan
If you’ve got boxes with the lot numbers 337-24 or 341-24, those are the ones affected. So far, there have been two minor allergic reactions reported.
The company discovered the issue was due to a temporary packaging mistake that left the egg white off the label.
