A Livingston County woman is denying allegations of animal mistreatment after more than 90 dogs and puppies were removed from her Howell Township property. Margaret Elaine Komorny says her dogs were not in overcrowded cages and received daily care. Livingston County Animal Control and Sheriff Deputies were assisted by The Humane Society of the United States and veterinarians on Wednesday with removal of the animals after investigators determined that the dogs were living in substandard conditions. No charges have been filed against Komorny over the incident. However, she is facing charges of animal cruelty after an April incident at her Raisin Tree Farm.
