They don't call me the gambling man for nothing. It's one of my favorite things to do whenever I get the chance.

There are several casinos in Michigan which are very popular. One of them is Soaring Eagle in Mount Pleasant, another one is Firekeepers in Battle Creek, and are you familiar with Gun Lake Casino in Wayland, Michigan?

Did you hear the latest about Gun Lake Casino? We're talking about a $300 million expansion in the works, that will include a 15 story, 252 room hotel, and a huge aquadome that will feature three swimming pools. This is going to be fantastic when it's finished.

According to mlive.com:

The expansion, first announced in April 2021, is expected to be complete by March 2025, said Gun Lake Casino spokesperson Zach Harig. The expansion, according to a news release, aims to transform the casino “into the entertainment destination of the Midwest.”

Can I just tell you that I've never been to Gun Lake Casino and I have no excuse for it. I've been to Soaring Eagle and Firekeepers and now it's time for me to check out Gun Lake Casino at 1123 129th Ave, Wayland, Michigan.

You know what's going to be really cool about this new large scale aquadome? It will feature three swimming pools. One for families to use, another pool for guests who are 21 and older, and the 3rd swimming pool for VIP guests.

So does that mean if Bob Seger ever performs at Gun Lake Casino, he gets to use the VIP pool? Like that would ever happen!

When did Gun Lake Casino originally open? Mlive.com fills us in:

Opened in 2011, Gun Lake Casino features over 2,500 slots, 47 table games, and three restaurants.

My wife and I are going to Gun Lake Casino this summer to have some fun!
