The abrupt departure of Robert Gordon, the state's health director has stirred many questions lately, some of which have not been answered by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

On Monday, Whitmer declined to also comment on a plan for contact sports to return in Michigan, with a growing pressure being put on her administration to remove the ban, which ends February 21st.

Gordon resigned on Friday from his role as the director for the state's Department of Health and Human Services. The new soccer of his role is now Elizabeth Hertel, according to WSYM.
