WILX.com reports that General Motors is issuing a recall affecting more than 368,000 of its pick-up trucks.

Some 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 4500, 5500, and 6500 trucks, 2017-2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 and 3500 models, along with some GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks with diesel engines could have a problem with an optional engine block heater that may lead to a fire.

All of the affected trucks have the GM 6.6-Liter diesel engine with the optional feature. The electric heater cord and terminals have failed on some models, resulting in electrical fires. There have been 19 reported fires around the world, but, no injuries have been reported.
