Gallery: Look Inside Lansing’s Most Expensive House For Sale
Last time, we took a Peek Inside Michigan’s Most Unique Home Listing.
This time, we got a little closer to home.
Let's take a look inside Lansing's Most Expensive House for Sale.
You can get it for just under a cool million. List price is $999,900 (and your mortgage is just $5,677/month).
6 bedroom, 6 baths, and a little over 10,000 square feet.
This truly magnificent brick manor home is nestled on approximately 2.39 acres overlooking the double bend of the banks of the Grand River. Easy water access for boating. (Zillow)
Not only off of the Grand River but also across from the Capital City Bird Sanctuary.

Mind you, and this is where I get a little picky, the house is listed as a "European country chateaux" with "hand painted ceiling, painted by the Artist who painted the Capital building murals". Some of the painted ceilings (see the library and dining rooms) I could live without. Also, if it's not the hardwood floors, some of the carpet colors are questionable. While a magnificent house, it does seem a bit dated in some areas. And it's been on Zillow for over a year (763 days) with well over 2,000 views. So if it's not the price, it might be the price of updating the inside once you get it that might be keeping it for sale.
I am of course just guessing because the way my bank account is set up, I can't even afford to take a free tour of this joint much less judge what it looks like on the inside.
But do enjoy the view.
A thank you to Zillow
