An event on Sunday, August 10th, will raise money for the Ingham County TRIAD programs are run by community volunteers along with those from area police and fire departments.

Police spokesperson, Sgt. Traci Ruiz, says the event is designed to give to the community while asking them to 'give back' to those in need.

There will also be pet adoptions at the event, which runs from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the facility at 3101 E. Grand River in Lansing just east of U. S. 127.

Ruiz says the cost--no matter how long you can come out--with worth every cent.
