Another New Restaurant In Frandor? For Cheesesteaks? Yes Please!
Say what you will about Frandor (and yes I'm looking at you Lansing Facts lol), but they do seem to be getting their fair share of new places to eat.
A while back I talked about the addition of Mr. Corned Beef.
I just have to give you the warning, if you get one of these sandwiches for lunch, you're in danger. They are big and tasty. Made to order. You will have a food baby and go into a food coma after you eat one.

You know the only thing better than a Detroit favorite of mine, now open in East Lansing (Frandor), and serving gigantic sandwiches...is when there are now two such places.
Corned Beef to the Right and now Cheesesteaks on the LEFT
Allow me to introduce you to Lefty's Cheesesteaks.
I first had these guys at their Detroit location just off 8 Mile (yes, the one Eminem raps about) a year or so back. And they just opened this East Lansing/Frandor location in November. But with the holiday hustle and bustle, you might have missed it.
They are obviously known for their cheesesteaks. A pretty decent variety of them. The (original) Lefty's Cheesesteak, the Southpaw (because it's got Flamin' Hot Cheetos on it), and this guy pictured below - The Big Poppa (which is what you'd get if a Big Mac and a cheesesteak had a baby).
Peep their Hoagie menu here.
This is their full menu from inside the restaurant.
Things to take note of and to make sure you try:
- Spicy cherry peppers (get them on your cheesesteak...trust me).
- Their corned beef sandwiches are equally as good and huge as well.
- They have corned beef and cheesesteak egg rolls. Yup. Do that.
- Try to leave room for dessert if you can.
Mouth watering yet? Need to know where they are located? 3201 E. Grand River. Right next to the AT&T store and across the street from the Speedway.
