After 5 1/2 hours of deliberation, an Ingham County jury found former Michigan State University dean of Osteopathic Medicine William Strampel guilty of one count of misconduct while in office, and two counts of neglect of duty on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday's decision concludes a two-week trial into allegations that Strampel made sexual comments to female students and allegedly grabbing another student, as well as his handling of the multiple complaints against former MSU doctor Larry Nassar.

Strampel was found not guilty of a second degree criminal sexual conduct charge.  He will be sentenced on July 31st in Ingham County Circuit Court.
