On January 22nd the Flint Police Department took an inventory which resulted in the discovery of 20 missing shotguns.  One missing gun is a Mossberg and the others are all Remington.

Police Chief James Tolbert has issued a department-wide audit that he hopes will reveal where the weapons are currently. On Wednesday Tolbert said that is has been quite some time since the firearms department had been audited and the missing firearms could be a paperwork issue.

After the department is audited they will have a better understanding of what they do and do not have.
