Lansing’s Nola Bistro Restaurant Is Closed Due To A Fire
Sadly, a Lansing business experienced a fire this week, and due to this, they are going to be closed until further notice.
Fire at Nola Bistro in Lansing
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Nola Bistro Pho & PO-Boys on Lansing's west side. It appears that they suffered an outside electrical fire that took place on Monday, June 20th.
While Delta Township firefighters were able to put out the blaze, the damage was already done. It appears that smoke and fire damage has occurred to the gas and electrical meters outside, as well as some of the facade.
I first saw word of the fire via the Lansing Foodies Facebook page. After calling 911, a concerned citizen posted pictures within the Foodie group trying to reach out to the owners. The owners were made aware and hope to reopen soon, according to their Facebook post.
In searching for information on this incident, I came across a video that someone posted online. It appears that TheFamily'sSoup TV channel on YouTube was on the scene shortly after the fire. They took some video while on the scene that shows Delta Township Fire finishing putting out the fire and cleaning up after.
The person taking the video notes the acrid smell in the air and posits an electrical fire. While the person taking the video may not be an expert in fire damage, according to Nola Bistro's own Facebook page, it was indeed an electrical fire. You can see the aftermath in this Nola Bistro Facebook post.
Another area of Michigan suffered from a fire this week; Downtown Holly. See the pictures below.
