“Water, Wildlife, Sky and Earth,” – a new nature and landscape exhibit featuring the work of Western Michigan photographer, Jim Carney, is now on display at The Peoples Church of East Lansing (TPC). It includes 33 pieces from his collection of waterfowl, flowers, lakescapes and skyscapes of Michigan and Florida.
The exhibit include a wide variety of images rendered on metal, canvas, and paper. They include striking shots of owls, hummingbird, Red-Shouldered Hawk, an eagle attack and a Snowy Egret tending its nest. Colorful images of tropical flowers, butterflies and Michigan water scenes also highlight the display.
The exhibit, which will be on display through October 17, 2019, is open to the public and free of charge. Hours for viewing are Monday through Friday, 12:00 Noon through 4:00 PM, and Sunday 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Visitors may enter from the church parking lot and pick up an exhibit catalog inside the NW entrance of the church.
