Painting Outside the Lines – Art Exhibit

The Peoples Church of East Lansing has announced a new exhibit, "Painting Outside the Lines" featuring the work of renowned water color artist Maxine MacLeod. It includes 22 stunning pieces from her collecion of Midwest landscapes, lakescapes and flowers. Her work is in many private and corporate collections and in the permanent collections of Western Michigan University, the University of Michigan and West Shore Community College. She was commissioned to design the 1989, 1990 and 2009 posters for the Holland Tulip Time Festival. The exhibit will be on display through July 18, 2019. It is open to the public and free of charge. Hours for viewing are Monday through Friday, 12:00 Noon through 4:00 pm, and Sunday 8:00 am to 12:00 Noon. Parking in the church lot is free.
