Disney Employees and Tax Reform, It’s a Magical World
Well the good news keeps rolling in as we expected it would.
Did you expect the Tax Reform Bill proposed by President Trump and passed by the Republicans in the House and Senate would have such a wonderful effect this fast?
I must admit I did not.
Yesterday the CEO of Disney Bob Iger announced the Disney will pay over 125,000 employees a one-time cash bonus of $1,000, as well as make a new $50 million investment into education program for employees.
Were we not told by the Democrats, of which almost none of them voted for the tax Reform that the money, would not trickle down to the employees. If it was in the hands of the Democrats none of these employees would be receiving this cash windfall.
In a statement Bob Igor said:
We are directing approximately $125 million to our cast members and employees across the country and making higher education more accessible with the launch of this new program
He then went on to say that these bonuses and new education initative are due to the Tax Reform bill passed by the Republicans and signed by President Trump.
Remember many of the biggest companies in the United States have been giving out bonuses to employees and giving the recently-passed tax reform bill as their motive.
Just to name a few there was: Boeing, AT&T, Wells Fargo, Comcast, Bank of America and Walmart.
Or do you consider a $1000 bonus just crumbs doled out by our masters as Democrat Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi recently said?
