When is enough enough? Disgraced former Republican state representatives Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat have filed separate lawsuits against the state House of Representatives and various government officials.

I believe that some who enter politics do so with good intentions and others who knows. One thing I can say is that once they get a taste of the extremely enticing drug called power they can not let it go.

Why would Courser or Gamrat believe anyone owes them anything after what they put us in Michigan through? Since one was essentially found guilty and was removed from office and the other one resigned due to what he did, should the citizens of Michigan sue them for the cost of the investigations and hearings?

I do not even want to get into the details of these suits, it is not worth the time. If you want to know why they are suing and who the are suing, if you care, click on this Detroit Free Press article hotlink.

I just wanted to point this out to you because too many people do not really understand why these politicians do what they do, how it is not about the people but it is about them and how entitled many of these politicians think they are once elected.

Remember one thing when it comes to politics and many politicians, they are first worried about themselves, then their party, then the parties agenda, then their constituents (only because that is who gets them reelected) and then possibly the state or nation. I know this may sound harsh but the evidence is in what they have done to our states and nation.

Let’s talk about this tomorrow (Monday) on The Live with Renk Show which airs Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to noon. To let me know your thoughts during the show please call (269) 441-9595.
