Derek Kan, The Corporate Average Fuel Economy /Admin’s big car dereg rollout

Derek Kan is the Executive Associate Director at the White House Office of Management and Budget. Previously, Derek was Under Secretary of Transportation for Policy, where he served as a principal advisor to the Secretary and provided leadership in the development of policies for the Department.

The Corporate Average Fuel Economy /Admin’s big car dereg rollout. OMB  is at the helm of the President’s dereg efforts and Derek, also as a former Under Secretary at DOT, has been leading efforts on the big rule we announced today. OMB finalized the first part of the rule today.
