Delton Williams' status with the Michigan State football program has been in doubt since he was arrested in March for brandishing a gun in an apparent road rage incident.

But has he been reinstated with the Spartans? A tweet from Williams on Friday may suggest as much:

Williams, 21, has been suspended from the football team since mid-March, after e allegedly cut off another vehicle while driving on MSU’s campus, then brandished a handgun, for which he had a legal license to carry, after the victim honked at him.

The junior-to-be running back was arrested and charged with brandishing a firearm, which is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in jail. In April, Williams agreed to a plea deal.

Williams is a two year letterman, and was MSU’s third leading rusher in 2014, compiling 316 yards on 54 carries. He also scored a career best 5 touchdowns in 2014. His career totals 92 carries for 554 yards and six touchdowns in 22 games.
