Death Valley is already known for the intense heat in the area near Nevada and California, however, a record may have just been broken.

The recorded temperature was 133 degrees. Now, there is an error in this recording, as the thermometer glitched. It was so hot, that the thermometer actually recorded the wrong temperature. It was actually 130 degrees that day, only three degrees away from what was recorded.

Now, it also just so happened that Death Valley also holds another previous record high (even though those original readings are questioned, according to WILX), the highest accepted temperature was 129 degrees.

No record has yet to be broken though, as a committee will have to convene to verify the accuracy of those readings.
