Governor Rick Snyder will take his fourth trade mission trip to China on Wednesday.  He will visit five cities including Shanghai and Beijing before he returns to Michigan on November 26.

The purpose of this mission is to bring jobs and tourists to Michigan.  Snyder will focus on exporting agriculture and industrial products, as well as creating and solidifying opportunities for China to work with Michigan firms. He plans to discuss Detroit's come back.  Snyder said Monday that the Chinese are "curious about Detroit."  The restructuring of the city will be the main topic of conversations about Detroit.

Earlier this month a federal judge approved the cities bankruptcy restructuring plan.  The plan includes using $1.7 billion to improve city services while eliminating $7 billion in debt.
