Chrysler Defies the Odds and has a Great January

Both Ford and G.M. are reporting last month fewer cars and trucks were sold. They are blaming the cold weather and the record amounts of snow that came down over much of the country. When compared to last January sales were off 7% for Ford and 12% for G.M.. However for Chrysler sales were up 8% over last year. The Jeep brands saw a 38% jump and the Ram Truck division was up 24%. This will be the last reporting month for Chrysler alone. Next time it will be "Fiat Chrysler" now that the merger and name change have been finalized.
