Christian Radio Show Host Admits to Heinous Crime
A west Michigan Christian radio host is behind bars for allegedly paying a suspected human trafficker to set up a sexual encounter with a 12 year old boy.
The Lansing State Journal is reporting today that John Balyo--the former morning man on radio station WCSG-FM---was charged on Monday with two counts of criminal sexual conduct. He has since confessed to the rape and was ordered held without bond pending his next court appearance.
Balyo was arrested at a music festival in Gaylord after a search of his Caledonia home by the Michigan State Police, U. S. Immigration and Enforcement. and the Battle Creek Police Department. A car and rented storage facilitty were also searched.
WJRW radio in Grand Rapids is reporting that Ronald Moser of Battle Creek is also under investigation. Officials say he allegedly operated a website that contained photos of children in their underwear advertised for paying customers. Reports indicate Moser was found with a 12 year old boy when his home was raided but police have not confirmed that.
