WILX.com reports that two people have been formally charged in connection to a Lansing dogfighting ring investigation. According to the story, prosecutors are charging a 47-year old man, Corey Henry, with 10 criminal counts that include animal cruelty and fighting charges. A second suspect, Synquiss Antes, a 25-year old is facing nine counts related to dogfighting, and one count of having an unlicensed dog.

Authorities have been investigating a dogfighting ring for weeks. In July, Ingham County Animal Control officials seized more than 25 dogs from three separate homes.
