Imagine getting your food, not by a person, but by a robot. If you live in Ann Arbor, you may actually witness an autonomous robot deliver your food.

According to WILX, these self driving cars will be tested out in January with four different restaurants.

Refraction Al, based out of Ann Arbor and makes REV, an autonomous robot that is about five feet tall. Almost human like, right? These autonomous robots have wheels, fuselage and can hold delivery bags.

The REVs will be used starting on January 3rd to take meals from four different restaurants to a test group of 300 people.

According to WILX, Refraction Al is hoping that it will be Electric. The 100-poud REV could make food delivery cost go down in half. Hoping to make it cheaper than even Grubhub.
