Monica Harris has been on Lansing Radio for over over 30 years, 27 of those years on Morning Radio. Married to WILX NBC News Anchor David Andrews, they have 3 daughters, 4 cats, 2 fish and a crazy dog. Born and raised in Owosso, Monica has lived in the Mid Michigan area her entire life. Growing up, summers were spent at the family cottage at Higgins Lake. Likes are: golfing (although not yet at the LPGA level), Tiger Baseball, LOVES THE DETROIT LIONS (rest of the family Packer fans...boooo) gardening, traveling (most recently went to Ireland) and is a fantastic cook. (tooting my own horn). Dislikes: Mean people, and seeing people wearing white after Labor Day. Mid-Michigan was such a wonderful place to grow up we wanted to raise our children here. That was a great choice. Through radio, I have met some wonderful people, and meeting celebrities is so amazing. As a young child with Dad's tape recorder, that's when the love of broadcasting began and that love continues today. I am blessed to be doing a job that I love so well, and I am always humbled at home many people say they love listening to the show. Yes, very blessed.
