What I call “laughin’ and scratchin’, I’ve been doing a long time. I grew up in Chicago, and the long and winding road of radio brought me to Kalamazoo in January of ‘87. Had an awful lot of fun at one special radio station, next door, but like Tom Brady, let’s see what we can do here. Both my sons were born here. Michael lives here and is a long time Rocker listener, and David is now living the dream in Chicago, hoping to be a comedy writer. Proud to say they're my best friends.

Cranberry And Pickle Pie. Is This A Michigan Thing For Thanksgiving?
There it is...feast on it. Cranberry Pickle Pie. I get a lot of grief from my friends because I like tuna or sardines on my oatmeal. As 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Nears, Didn’t We Learn Anything?
The twentieth anniversary of probably the worst event of my lifetime is coming up in about two weeks, and I'm guessing I'm not the only one reflecting on it. The terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001, as horrible and scary as they were, did do one good thing in the immediate aftermath. For a few, much too short, weeks, those tragic events caused us as a nation to come together.
