Another GM Ignition Recall
Just months after a massive recall regarding faulty ignition switches, General Motors has announced another recall for a similar issue.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the current recall affects the 2014 Chevy Silverado, 2014 GMC Sierra, 2015 Chevy Suburban and 2015 Chevy Tahoe models.
As part of a multi-million dollar settlement, GM launched the "Speak Up For Safety" initiative, encouraging employees to report defects to management. That's exactly how the current flaw was discovered.
The ignition switches are apparently placed in a position that can be easily bumped by a driver's knee, moving the ignition from the on position to accessory.
