The Casa Mamita Chicken and Cheese Tawuitos in 20-ounce cartons, with two separate best by dates of 07-03-25 and 09-25-25 are apart of the recall that is affecting Michigan Aldi stores, as well as nationwide.

While no injury or illness has yet to be reported to the FDA, it has been noted that consumers have found metal inside of the product, as well as one consumer reporting a dental injury after consumption.

If you have any of the affected products, you are urged not to try and consume them but to return them to Aldi for a full refund or simply toss the product out.

If you have questions about this recall, you can contact Bestway Foods Co.'s questions and answers hotline at (818)-361-1800 and hit EXT. 110. You can also contact the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-MPHotline (888-674-6854).
