Accident Claims Four Lives

Officials in Muskegon County are now giving details about an accident this morning that claimed four lives.

MLive.com is reporting the victims died early this morning on Apple Avenue near M-37 when a Dodge pick-up truck with three people hit a Chevy Trailblazer with six people inside.  Four of them died at the scene.  The others suffered injuries, although at this time it's unknown just how severe those injuries are.  All three in the Dodge were transported to the hospital as well.

No word yet on the identities of the dead or the exact cause of the crash, but indications are that slippery roads may have been a factor.
