The wife of the man accused of shooting a Michigan State Police trooper to death will learn her fate today.

Sarah Knysz reached a plea deal with prosecutors for her role in the death of Paul Butterfield.  She also agreed to testify against her husband, Eric Knysz, who is accused of the actually killing. Sarah, who is believed to have aided her husband in escaping the crime scene, could receive as much as two years in prison under the deal.

Butterfield was shot after a traffic stop in West Michigan earlier this year.  Eric Knysz has yet to be tried in the death.  He was taken into custody after a multi-county search.
