Weather Makes for a Dangerous Ride for Some Travelers

A frightening flight for some headed out of Detroit for the holidays.

Their Delta Airlines jet skidded off the taxiway at Detroit's Metro Airport Monday.   Officials believe the plane hit some black ice on takeoff coming to rest in the grassy area just off the runway.  There were 180 passengers on board the flight which was headed to Atlanta.  All got off safely and took another flight later in the day.  Those with the National Transportation Safety Board are conducting an investigation.
