Vegans Out For Blood

The most popular vegan restaurant in Hollywood has suddenly become the focus of raging vegetarians. It seems word has gotten out that the couple that owns Café Gratitude actually own livestock on their northern California farm and worse- they actually kill some of those animals to eat. It seems the vegans are seeing red.

Matthew and Terces Engelhart the couple that owns the vegan haunt have become the focus of death threats according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Matthew is apparently shocked at the liberal outrage, "People have taken up the mob mentality," he says. He was further shocked to learn that progressives actually thought it was their business to condemn the way he lived his private life, "It saddens me that the choices we made in the privacy of our home would lead people to feel so betrayed that it's elevated to threats on our lives. I'm very discouraged."

The liberals went off the rails last week when a group of animal rights activists found and then shared on-line a blog from early last year published by Terces that described their Be Love Farm and the transition back to being meat eaters. The couple had been vegetarian for 40 years and vegan for a dozen before deciding to return to the ranks of carnivores. The animals they ate all came from their farm and had for the most part lived there all of their lives. None of the meat was sold but some was shared with neighbors and friends.

Hard core vegans say the pair have violated the lifestyle of veganism and therefore they will boycott the restaurants that are all over Southern California.

Yep- it seems the vegans are out for blood.
