The time between the NFL draft and the start of NFL rookie camps can be very stressful for an undrafted college player looking to continue their football career. For two former Spartans, those stresses are gone for the time being.

MLive's Matt Wenzel revealed in a tweet RB Gerald Holmes and DE Demetrius Cooper are both getting invites to NFL rookie camps.

The Raiders and new head coach Jon Gruden already have two Spartans in the fold with QB Connor Cook and DE Shilique Calhoun. Meanwhile the Colts do not have any Spartans on their roster, however Indianapolis did add two running backs via the draft in the third day so there could be a few roster spots to be battled for on the Colts.

From the 2018 class turnover, only kicker Brett Scanlon hasn't landed in an NFL camp yet. Offensive lineman Brian Allen was drafted by the Rams and earlier this week linebacker Chris Frey was picked up by the Panthers
