Over the next couple of weeks I will be re-posting some of my columns written about Donald Trump in the 18 months leading up to his election as the 45th President of The United States. This is part of that series:

It seems that ever since Donald Trump entered the race for the Republican nomination and a bid to become the 45th President of The United States he has been dealt perfect cards.

I mean lets look things over. First he comes out with a bombastic speech targeting illegal aliens flooding into the country calling some of the them ‘criminals’ and others ‘rapists’. He was attacked at every turn by his GOP opponents. He was savaged and mocked by nearly every member of the elite lefts PR department in the national media. He was of course lambasted by the outspoken socialists seeking the Democratic nomination.

Then, Kate Steinle was gunned down by an illegal alien without cause in a crowded San Francisco park. She died in her fathers arms. “Help me dad”, were her last words before she died.

Trump and his campaign were buoyed by the shocking news. Trump then sparred with the media over terms like ‘anchor baby’ and whether or not the 14th amendment actually means anyone born on US soil is an American. He says no and the liberal leftists, who see every non-American as a potential new liberal voter, began howling again. However Trumps numbers began to rise again. He is being lifted this time because the vast majority of Americans don’t think you become a citizen because your mother broke the law to run into America and have a child. Let’s be honest it is a ridiculous law. Many would argue that was not the intent at all.

Trump has also been bellowing we Americans are getting screwed by the likes of the Chinese and others when it comes to business and free trade. President Obama has been clinging to lower unemployment numbers and has pointed repeatedly to the rising stock market.

That ended today. The amateur in the White House exposed for his lack of experience running much of anything.

Now the stock market is plummeting, down some 600 points in one day. This comes amid clear evidence that the Chinese are in fact manipulating markets and currency and dragging the rest of us down with it.

When America wakes up tomorrow, I have little doubt which Presidential candidate will be pounding on the table screaming I told you so. I am also quite confident the lower the stock market goes, the higher Donald Trumps numbers will rise. It will be inversely proportional and if this continues I find it unlikely that any other candidate will be able to turn back the Trump tide of “I can make America Great Again!”
