The State Board of Canvassers has determined the group "Keep Michigan Wolves Protected" collected enough valid petition signatures--182,732--to get its proposal on the statewide ballot in November.

If approved by voters it would assure last year's first wolf hunt in Michigan in a long time would be the last.  It's designed to never allow wold hunting again in the state.

The 2013 wolf hunt season started late last year and lasted 45 days and 22 wolves were killed.
