What is going on in some of our nation's schools?

A junior high school in Utah gave their students a homework assignment that asked them to go into their parents' bathroom and take an inventory of all items inside their family's medicine cabinet. After the students created that inventory list, students were instructed to submit the list to their health teacher.

Now, can someone tell me what that is suppose to teach a junior-high student?

What can be achieved by this assignment to improve the intelligence of the student?

Would you call this spying by the teacher?

What would you do if you child told you about this homework assignment?
