There is a new scam that has been going around lately where customers are getting phone calls supposedly from Lansing BWL telling them that their service may be shut off.
The Lansing Board of Water and Light and Consumers Energy report that thousands of residents are without power Sunday Evening in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton Counties. Just after 7:00PM, BWL Spokesman Steve Serkaian reported nearly 38,000 in the dark in the board's entire service area, including approximately 21,000 in Lansing
