Several law enforcement agencies are working together trying to locate suspects who allegedly broke into a business in Union City. The burglars are said to have stolen weapons and cash, among other items.

WWMT reports that Michigan State Police troopers were dispatched to Ed's Auto and Trailer Sales in Union City at approximately 9:00 Saturday morning on reports of a breaking and entering. Investigators were able to determine that an unknown number of thieves forced their way into the business sometime between 5:00 pm Friday and 9:00 am Saturday to carry out the crime. Altogether, at least $200 in cash, a .38 caliber pistol along with a DVR box to the business's internal surveillance system were taken.

A description of the suspects as well as a vehicle description is not available at this time. Officials are asking anybody with information on the incident or who may have witnessed anything unusual in the area Friday night or Saturday morning to call the Michigan State Police Marshall Post.
