BREAKING NEWS.....A suspect in the shooting death of a Michigan State University student earlier this year will be in court today being charged with that murder.

Arraignment for the suspect, identified only as from Grand Rapids, is set for late this afternoon in 54B District Court in East Lansing.  He will be arraigned via a video link-up.

Dominique Nolff was shot dead in his apartment in Cedar Village on January 31, 2014.  Another man was wounded in the attack and has been working with police in identifying a suspect.  That suspect is believed to be the man taken into custody in Grand Rapids after a standoff with police there.

He was identified as a possible suspect after videotape of the stairwell of the apartment complex showed a man entering and leaving the building around the time of the attacks.

Police believe the motive was robbery.
