State is Reviewing Online School Testing Plan
The State Department of Education says nearly 80% of school buildings in Michigan are set up to be able to test students on-line. At this point however it's unknown exactly when they will be ready to actually administer the exams.
State lawmakers are now looking over a funding plan that would allocate millions of dollars for on-line testing. This month hundreds of Michigan schools will take part in a field test. That's expected to give officials a better idea how well the new testing system is progressing.
