Sinkhole Damaged Corvettes To Be Repaired in Michigan
Last week in Bowling Green, Kentucky where the "National Corvette Museum" is located a large sinkhole opened up and eight classic Corvettes were damaged. The sinkhole is about 40 feet across and 25-30 feet deep.
Officials say the overall structure of the building is in good shape. But it's a different story for the vintage automobiles. Now it's been announced General Motors will handle the restoration effort. The cars will be shipped to G.M.'s Mechanical Assembly Facility in Macomb County and automotive experts will get them back to pristine condition.
