See Which Michigan High Schools Ranked Highest in New Survey

U.S News and World Report is out with its 2014 study on high school performance nationwide and of the top 500 in America ten are in Michigan. Scoring exceptionally well was the Intermediate Academy in Bloomfield Hills. It came in ninth place overall. The remaining nine include:                                                                                                     #169 Grand Rapids Prep School in Kentwood,  #268 Troy High School,  #288 Frankenmuth High School,  #322 City Middle and High School in Grand Rapids,  #354 Saline High School,  #374 Black River Public School in Holland,  #443 Rochester Adams High School,  #452 Okemos High School,  #495 Bloomfield Hills Andover High School

In addition to grading academic performance the study also measured how well all students were served--not just those going to college.
