Nissan Recalls Titan Pickup Trucks For Seat Belt Issue

WILX.com reports that Nissan Motor Company is recalling more than 52,000 of its Titan pickup trucks. Apparently, the rear seat belts on Titan Crew Cab models may not do their job in protecting passengers.

The recall is for 2016 Nissan Titan Crew Cab and Titan XD Crew Cab models. The company has no reports of injuries related to the defective seat belts. The issue was detected during company testing. In those tests, researchers found that a passenger's head could contact part of the seat belt assembly during a crash.
