Nika The Tiger Leaves Potter Park

Nika The Tiger is on the move to a new home. After more than 4 years of calling Potter Park Zoo her home, the Amur Tiger has been relocated to Grand Rapids’ John Ball Zoo, where she will be on exhibit with two other tigers this summer. Nika gave birth to three female cubs while at Potter Park. Kira and Savelli have been transferred to an out of state zoo, while Ameliya remains in Lansing with her father, Savaki.For information on the tiger exhibits at both zoos, see the links below.
