WILX.com reports that the NCAA has cleared Michigan State University of any rules infractions surrounding the school's athletic department and its involvement in the Larry Nassar sex abuse scandal.

According to the report, the NCAA also cleared MSU of any potential violations in its basketball and football programs, following a December 2017 report from ESPN.

Michigan State Athletic Director said in a statement, "We welcome closure in regards to the NCAA inquiry, MSU cooperated fully with the inquiry over the past several months and provided all requested documentation and access to key personnel."

An investigation into the university's involvement by the Michigan' Attorney General's office continues.
